Personal Finance Education Services, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) educational organization headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Empowering people is our focus.  “We believe that personal finance knowledge and skills are important keys to empowerment,” says Anne Bannister, Executive Director.  “Classroom discussions can help learners of all ages take control of their financial futures, especially when the facts are straight-forward and easy to understand.”

Anne graduated from the University of Michigan in 1986. She established PFES after nearly twenty years in corporate financial services where her responsibilities included personal finance education workshops and individual counseling.

Prior to forming PFES, Anne worked at Comerica Bank, NBD Bank, Charterpoint Investment Centers and TIAA-CREF.  She holds CFP, CHMC, and CRPC credentials and Michigan life/health insurance licenses.

Anne and PFES consultants are committed to using their knowledge and experience to address the critical need for quality personal finance education in schools, workplaces and communities.

PFES works in partnership with other organizations, personal finance professionals and funding sponsors.
